erm... I think most ppl feel more relaxed when the close there eyes...?

Errr...

because open eyes seems a tad odd.

It would sort of feel like the person you're kissing is

STARING INTO YOUR SOUL.

Closing your eyes helps you embrace the person and just makes your kiss seem more magical.

Open eyes lets you see what's around plus you could get distracted if you saw a frog hop along by on the ground which would make you seem less interested in your kissing partner.

I close my eyes because it just feels natural whereas when I've opened my eyes it became a kind of staring competition clamped at the mouth...

I would find it extremely disturbing, in fact, almost traumatizing if I had to look into someone's eyes at such close range, while kissing...Why I may as well JUST be kissing a Cyclops!!!

I had the unfortunate experience to have gone on a couple of dates with this one very odd fellow...(God knows why!) and on the last date he grabbed me by the back of my head and pressed my face onto his and he surprised me by kissing me with his eyes wide open, as round as fishes' or the eyes on Picasso's last portrait before his death, at 90 years old I believe...

I think people just do what comes naturally to them. I used to kiss with my eyes open and people told me it was weird so now I kiss with my eyes closed. But my boyfriend kisses with his eyes open he says he likes to see me.

I had this ex boyfriend who would leave his eyes open when he kissed me. I only realized this after a few months because I opened them once for a second. It actually really put me off. There was something so unnatural about it.

ya down is right its rude because have you ever had your lips locked and your eyes are open and then the person you are kissing opens theirs, and you find yourself staring at each other.....its hilarious but its also kinda awkward.......just go with it - alot of things in life just are the way they are - dont screw it up - just kiss someone close your eyes, enjoy the moment and hope it lasts :)

women, why do you shut your eyes whilst kissing? properly i do no longer each so often, I actually have a bent to look on the guy who frequently has his eyes closed. It merely looks strange and makes me chortle. it incredibly relies upon on the guy you're kissing. they might or won't close their eyes.

I close my eyes when i kiss my boyfriend because other wise i feel like i'm watching him. And if he does the same to me it makes me feel awkward.

I think it intensifies the sensation. But it can be weird watching someone else when they make those kissy faces. It kinda takes away from the moment I guess.
