I drive a 1997 Ford Mustang GT, its a 4.6L V8. I've changed the spark plugs and wires I've also changed the fuel filter but it just so slow when I floor the gas peddle. Also when i am trying to floor it it won't go past 4k RPM's. Not sure what else to do. Please help!!!

Or a clogged catalytic converter. Any check engine lights? Usually a bad map or tps will make the check engine light come on but a clogged cat usually wont. If it's clogged you'll hear kind of a drone when you bring it up to around 4k or wherever it's dropping off. You can test if that's the problem or not if your cat (s) bolt in. just unbolt the exhaust before the cat and make sure it won't flow through it. Then start it up, it's gonna be really loud. But if it will rev up like it should, you've found the problem
Throttle Position Sensor. or Mass air flow.
You changed your wires... make sure you got them all in the right place?
Change and clean intake and check exhaust restriction.
