Numerous times a day, my internet locks up and I have to CTRL+ALT+Delete to get it to close. I've sent error reports and I get a box that lets me go to the Windows Error Reporting wesbite where I get this information:
This problem was caused by Windows, which was created by Microsoft Corporation.
There is no solution for this problem at this time. However, your computer might be missing updates that can help improve its stability and security.
I checked and the site said that I had no updates available for my computer. I have deleted my browsing history, cookies, etc., done a disk cleanup, a defrag, scanned for spyware and viruses, even re-installed IE7, all resulting with no improvement. I usually have to re-start my computer and usually it will work for an hour or so with no problems. Then it starts all over again.
Now, my question is - what else can I do? Does anyone have any other ideas?? HELP!
Update:Just wanted to add that I have Firefox and it does the same thing.

IE7 sometimes does that to me, so installed Firefox as well, so I can pick either browser when one plays up, which they do, I'm afraid.
A link if you want to try it..might help you..
http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/
How about Safari from Apple?..got that too..

IE7 is there but there are not always websites that have upgraded their HTML Coding to IE7 Standards. So you're still getting a lot of Internet Explorer 6 incompatible coding that may cause a memory leak that starts using a lot of RAM for iexplorer.exe. Then it starts to freeze...
I would switch to Firefox. I still have internet explorer, but it mostly just sets there.
Firefox is a much better browser.
Good luck
They just released a major security update you might want to try if that helps.
i am going through the same prob, i have ran all kinds of an-tie spy/ viruses and what i found is that the viruses attached them selves to my operatingsystem folder so i know have to rre imagemy computer. if you delete one viruses that is attached to one of those files your computer will never run the same
try switching to Firefox. it is less likely to be infected by spyware. and in general is just a better web browser.
