why does my screen go black in carnivores 2?
when i select to start the hunt after ive selected my target and weapon it loads then goes to a black screen that i can only leave with task manager someone please help

I had the same problem. Its an old game so it doesn't always work well with modern pc's.
Did you try running the game in windows 95 compatibility mode? You can do this by right-clicking the carnivores shortcut, selecting properties and then "compatibility" , you can then change the compatibility there. See if that works.
