when nothing can be done about the judges who voilates a mans rights to a fair trial or the illegal kidknapping the dcf gets away with if our government cant clean up the system and steal our money and do nothing to better this world why support it?

well, if you want to not support "the system" then who's system *will* you support? someone (most likely MANY) will want *their* way to be the law. some will have better/more acceptable ideas than others. one (or more) will eventually rise to power.
at least in our system of government you can: speak your mind. carry a banner that protests what the government does. talk to others in an effort to sway opinions. tell others when a congressman/president/governor/etc... does not do what you wanted them to do. have laws that can be changed when the majority of people agree they should be.
as wiston churchill once said "democracy is the worst kind of government, except for the other kinds."

because they also do good things for us . but mostly bad things, but we are all human beings. they may seem like jackasses at the moment but when the fog clears, they will know what to do.
