Okay so it used to record videos by hitting the button that is in the shape of a camera with a red circle to the top left corner of it, we let someone use it (someone trust worthy) and now that we have the camera back when i go to record videos and click the record button it just goes to the screen to select settings. You should probably ask that 'trust worthy' person what the hell they did with your camera. They might have connected it to a computer and messed with the settings. Like everyone else said, check the manual! There might be some kind of setting that changes the location each button on your camera is designated to. If that's not the case, go to that 'trust worthy' person and demand they pay for you to get your camera fixed.
