Will Mr. Alan Kruegur make a good economic adviser on President Obama administration?
Facing a public deeply dissatisfied with him handling of the economy President Obama tapped a prominent labor economist to join his cadre of advisers and help him to steer a falling jobs agenda.
No, from what I understand Alan Kruegur's philosophy is that the US Government should be able to double our current National Debt in the short run and figure out to pay it down sometime in the future. That would cause all three bond rating agencies to down grade our debt to junk. If I am correct, he is also one that thinks that we could be like Japan which has 10% savings rate even with interest rates at 0% and a population that puts the Nation ahead of the individual.
Another leftist professor with zero business experience. He'll follow the others (Goolsbee, Romer) who happily scuttled back to Chicago or Berkeley after promising the recovery summers that never happened. Bet 10-to-1 he advocates borrowing more money from the Chinese for short term eyewash projects. Cash-for-clunkers - what idiocy. Shifted new car sales by a few months, and now the poor are paying top dollar for used cars.
No,he may be a so called first rate economist, but his theology is socialism, communism and he is about as far left as a person can get with out falling off the edge.Excellent choice for Obama, they are on the same think tank.

No pub here knows the slightest thing about Alan Kruger.
He's actually a first rate economist.
