Last week I bought a nintendo 3ds and inserted pokemon games such as Platinum, Pearl, Diamond into the divice. Once I played half way, the mechine will lag or even go blank. I had even changed another new machine from the shop, but the problem still persist. When I asked them the reason of lagging, they just simply told me the pokemon softwares that they installed for me is for the Ds vision but not for 3Ds. Moreover, they said pokemon games had launched many years ago, parhaps the new 3Ds doesn't support them. Do pokemon games really cannot be supported by nintendo 3Ds or it just can play 3D vision games on it? How should I deal with the lagging problem? It so annoying, I can't play my pokemon pearl safely as I'm worrying it will lag in the next second
Update:Software problems? Can I solve it by changging the new softwares? The R4 card is new, so I don't think it's spoiled. lol

I believe they should for fine. In fact, I'm playing Pokemon White Version right this moment. Perhaps it is the game. The little gold metal tabs could have gotten stuck or something.
The 3DS should never have that problem... I play tons of 2D games on my 3DS, I have never experienced that... the 3DS was made to handle the old DS games well. I play Pokemon on my 3DS all the time, I've never had this error.... You must have a faulty 3DS.
I have no idea how to solve this problem. Have you been using any third party software on your 3DS, or an R4 card? (If you don't know what that is, then you don't have it. It's not the memory card.)
EDIT: Chandler might be right, it could be the games, not the system.
what the hell are you speaking approximately??? my 3ds would not lag yet you could attempt removing the cartridge and cleansing the lens of the cartridge. consistent with threat the device or the cartridge is getting warm. supply the sport and device some relax and then attempt returned.
