Windos XP Drives Open Problems?
I have a very serious problem, I have Windows XP, I can't open my drives (C,D,E & F) by licking or enter boton with mouse/keyboardd when I lick "My Computer" icon on desktop original window of my computer appears but further if i try to open any drive my computer always open a new windo of search result, a window where we can search any type of file instead of drive open. I can only view my drives by explore option. Is there any one to help me in this regards. Thanks

Try restoring the file Explorer.exe from the CD where u've installed Windows XP. Normally U can not restore this file. U need to use a tool named msconfig. Follow this step: Click Start ->>Run->> Type msconfig & press enter. The msconfig window will appear. At the General Tab, u'll find a button named "Expand File..." Press it. A new window will appear. Type Explorer.exe on the "File to Restore" Field. Type the ur Windows XP Installation location (i.e. CD-Rom drive or any backup drive from where u've installed Windows XP). Type your Windows Directory path (i.e. C:\Windows) in the "Save in" Field & press Expand button. When the restore process completes, restart ur pc. Hope this will fix you problem.
