I'm looking for an interesting "Fringe" OS to install. My current machine is already running Windows XP, Windows Vista, Ubuntu, Suse, MacOS 10.5 (ported to PC), and multiple other Linux Distros. I've tried a couple other fringe OS's (with very limited success). Does anyone know of any other OS's that ARE NOT LINUX BASED, that have stable enough releases that might be good to try?
Update:Thanks for the link jamesmicoff. I went through and tried out a few of them using VMWare:
Aros
Morphos 2.1
ReactOS
Syllable
Jnode
All of them either didn't load, or worked horribly. Is there any you've tested personally that you would recommend?

check out the "decrease back to fundamentals" toy catalog. not sure in the event that they have a internet site, yet they have each and every of the classic toys from the 30's on up, issues you are able to no longer purchase in shops any further. technological expertise kits are stable too, it is going to instruct them something whilst they're having relaxing. Our 11 365 days previous nephew have been given a gel Ant farm we paid $12 for from us final 365 days and it became his well-liked present. think of of something to get their creativity going.
ummmm, off the top of my head:
DOS (from the old days. Use Dosbox if you want to run DOS apps.)
Solaris (server stuff)
FreeBSD (still avaliable, i think)
Plan 9
BeOS
Many of these OS's are not that interesting anyway. They're pretty drab and not much use to the standard user.
