Windows Vista explorer problem after Welcome screen.?
It's just a black screen with my cursor after the Welcome screen. After a while the computer restarts. I'm currently using the Task manager to post this. Is there any way I can fix the explorer?

Have you tried starting explorer.exe in the Task Manager? File > New Task (Run) > Explorer.exe

If you have an HP computer it means that your hard drive is going bad. I had the same problem.
