Hi, I recently had to re-install vista, and the Network Icon is gone... it was there right after the re-installation, not that I need it, but it would be nice to have it back...
please help!

Update:Muff Dive wins, I got it!!! I had been on that page and i would always click on customize with no luck... never saw the network thing there!!! lol thanks!!!
btw, 1st dude, you loose, i didnt see it (i am kinda oblivious sometimes, but thats ur problem not mine)

right click on the tray > properties > notifications area tab > tick network,
note if its coloured in grey, UAC admin rights has to be turned on in order for you to make changes to your computer, turn it off when done because if you dont, viruses will be allowed to make changes to your comp
Right click startbutton, click Properties and go to Notification Area.
in case you recognize approximately whilst the themes began, you are able to attempt to apply the device fix function in Vista. click the residing house windows Icon (decrease left of the job Bar) style "device fix" the place it says start up seek choose the 1st get admission to that's returned. save on with the guidelines on the demonstrate screen.
