A strict Constitutionalist, not a globalist, who has spent 20 years consistantly fighting for the individual American over special interests, and who actually predicted and would best address the current economic crises?
If you support Ron Paul then you don't understand his policies. Especially the so called fair tax. The fair tax is the brain child of the super rich such as Steve Forbes. It would immediately raise the cost of all consumer items by adding an additional 22-33%. It would shift the burden of taxes to those who could least afford it. As well as spawning a huge black and, grey markets. For those who think it would do away with the dreaded IRS they are simply mistaken as it would only shift their duties to enforcing and, collecting this new tax. If you don't believe me just ask the British how they feel about the Inland Revenue.
I believe that the principles that Ron Paul stands for, are the very beliefs that founded a struggling nation, made it the greatest nation in history, and changed the world. These ideas are proven to work, and that preety well guarantees that Ron Paul would be a good president.
Absolutely not. Paul is outside of the mainstream on numerous issues such as his Fair Tax policies and his views regarding isolationism. There was an article in New Republic earlier this year that described racial screeds that appeared in a newsletter generated in his name. This man is indeed certifiable.
He is seemingly the only politician who cares about the common people of this nation.
He is a doctor who has delivered over 800 children into this world. A healer. The choices we were given to elect were either lawyers or soldiers, professions that screw or kill people. So you tell me.
Edit: You phucking morons Dr Paul does not support a "Fair Tax" he supports NO federal income tax, you would pay no taxes on your labor if he got his plan. Jeeezus the American people will continue to vote against their best interests until they no longer have the right to vote.
Only if he gives up support for the so-called "Fair Tax," a shameless money grab for the wealthy. It ignores the fact that the wealthy tend to AMASS wealth, not spend it. They'd get a HUGE tax cut from the "Fair Tax" while the poor and middle class would take it up the backside. His support for it proves that he has NO CLUE about taxation and economics and we don't need someone like that at the helm any longer.
Honestly, I have a few issues with him and there are few others I would choose before him, but he would be far better than the statists who had a shot at the presidency in '08.

Yes, happy now, haha.

Maybe in 2012, but I doubt it.
Don't know enough about him to make a decision such as this.
We have a President which the people have elected per our Constitution - His name is Barack Obama.
Ron Paul is an elderly hippie who would tank the U.S.
Sorry... no.
I can't say yes, but i won;t say no
I hated not seeing him on the ballot on November 4, so I voted for Baldwin instead.
If Dr. Paul had won against Bush 41 and Dukakis back in 1988, maybe we wouldn't be in so many messes today.
