This is a warning. I ordered a camera from them. I got an email saying I needed to call. The sales rep was very rude. He told my the camera I ordered was Turkish not USA and all of the language was in Turkish. He said if I order it, it cannot be returned.
He then said I could order the USA one now for a higher price. I said I want to cancel the order and he said fine stop wasting my time and then hung up.
I will fight the charge if they charge me (so far they have not) but this seems like your basic bait and switch operation so BEWARE.

Tried to order a camera off of the website cecause it was $75 dollars off of the retail price. The next day someone called me asking for my 3 digit security code on the back of my card. I thought this was odd but I gave it to them anyway. Throughout the conversation he was very rude and tried to get me to buy things that were not needed. He also told me that the camera didn't come with batteries on their website it said there was batteries included. He told me that I needed to do my research better. I told him I would look further into it. I then went online to look and see when my order would be sent. It said that it was "backordered". I called the next day to complain only to be told that customer service left for the day. He was rude and smug. I called the next day and asked a guy again why I needed batteries that were special...After about 5 minutes of arguing he finally told me that I bought the import camera and not the US camera. I told him to cancel my order he said okay and hung up immediately. I knew I had been had. I called my debit card company and cancelled my card right away. I just wanted to make sure that they don't get other people's information too. This place is a scam and it trying hard at getting peoples info.
Same here this guy is a con-artist. I thought the same as the rest of you that this site looks legit and took the risk for the good price. Then when I got the email to call and confirm I was told that the camera I ordered requires rechargeable batteries and you cannot use standard batteries with the camera. I said then why does best buy advertise AA batteries included. He told me that it will work for short term use and in the long run these cameras cause leakage and will void your warranty. Then he acted like I was an idiot for questioning him on this and pressured me into taking the batteries. Next he tells me I need the charger on top of all of this in order to charge the batteries, adding $70 more to my original price. I stupidly accepted after feeling forced into it, and this was a Christmas gift so of course I want to have everything need for it. After I got off the phone I did my research and figured out this was all a lie and called him back to tell him to take the batteries off my order. He says if you do that you have to cancel the whole order, then re-order the camera at a higher price. So I asked for the manager and his name. He says his name is James and the manager will be in tomorrow and his name is Tommy. Then he says no my sales manager is here and his name is George hold on, then he puts me on hold and acts like a different person which I humored and he of course told me the same B.S. and that James gave me a great deal. So now that I see all of these post I plan on figuring out how to shut this man down. If anyone knows what we can do against him let me know because this man is a "true" fraud. By the way has anyone obtained something from him, tracking number, or anything? I am worried that I will lose my money and I won't be able to afford to get another Christmas gift to replace it.
This same man everyone is talking about sexually harassed me on the phone. I am your average dense consumer. I should have had my very wise husband check this out before I did it. The web site and everything seemed legitimate. I found the web site on pricegrabber.com, which today I noticed that compudeals2u now does not exist on the pricegrabber web site. I received the email about my order from [email protected]. The email stated I had to call to confirm my oder. It was around 9:42 P.M. last night that I called. I thought this was very strange. I hit number 4 to confirm my order. He then proceeded to try to sell me a battery. I told him who sells a camera without a battery, I never heard of such a thing. He then said that I "sounded hot." How do you even sound hot? Ridiculous and appalling. He then said, "What are you 18 years old?" I replied No in disgust. He then asked me what I do for a living. I knew I was in hot water after this conversation. I had to humor him because he has my credit card information. I told him I teach. He then proceeded to make more remarks that were inappropriate such as "I wish you were my teacher when I was a kid." I'm very uncomfortable and upset at this point in the conversation. I told him I wanted to cancel my order but he wasn't having it. He said he gave me a good deal on that battery and everything else. I was practically in tears after what just happened and I talked with my husband. He immediately looked up reviews but had a difficult time finding anything until he came across this one.....scary it was difficult to find. He called the number back at 10:20 and picked option 2, which was customer service. The SAME MAN answers the phone. He told my husband that it shipped already and there is no way that happened because I just called a little over a half hour before my husband. My husband brought this to his attention. My husband told him we had to cancel the order because he bought me the same camera for Christmas already. The man really didn't listen and proceeded to ask him about where he purchased the camera and what doesn't he trust him. This again is besides the point. The man then said that we owe him $75 restocking fee. In a half hour, it was not shipped or taken off the shelf. Also, his website says you have 7 days to cancel your order. We did that in a half hour so according to his site, we shouldn't be charged. My husband asked him more questions and eventually he said we don't have to pay anything and next time know what you are buying. I immediately reported him to my credit card company and canceled my card. I can't believe someone would do something so awful. DON'T PURCHASE FROM THIS SCAM ARTIST.
Same experience here. Purchased a camera because they had the best price (prices for other items seemed ok, but not great, so I figured it was a legitimate "sale"). A few days go by and I got the same email everyone else got. I ignored the first one, but got a second the next day so I figured I should call. Bad idea (or good idea, really). The guy who picked up sounded like a sleeze ball right from the start. It almost sounded like he was working from his home (based on the conversation he was having with somebody in the background). He first tried to sell me a battery because the camera didn't come with one, I said no thank you. He then gave me the total for my purchase which was about $20 higher than my invoice. I started to argue with him about it, we went back and forth for about a minute and then I hung up the phone before I started in with the profanity's. Within a minute of me hanging up the phone I logged into the online store to check my order and it was gone. I deleted all of my information from that site and will be keeping an eye on my CC for a little while just in case.
www.compudeals2u.com is a SCAM, plain and simple. This guy should get arrested for what he is trying to pull. Do what you can to report the "business" as fraudulent to the appropriate organizations. He needs to be shut down before he steals more money and information.
I can also attest to everything that has been said here. I ordered A/V Reciever, no update for 5 days, called the number guy picked up. Said it will be mailed in couple days due to holidays, cyber monday whatever. Item ordered had no shipping and tax on the invoice. He then says your total charge will be approx. 70 dollars more!!! I said what the heck are you saying - he says go and click on free shipping icon, and there is hidden text saying you will be charged for insurance etc. I said why didn't you add it to the invoice (that is show it after we entered our address). He had no answer but kept blabbering that it is there.
Worst was, he was nastiest in behavior. Says you want it or not, I can cancel it. You look like a trouble maker, you will never be satisfied. I asked for customer services he says he is the manager!
Bottomline this is a single shingle crazy dude who wants to make quick buck the wrong way, his website was suspicious but I gave them benefit of doubt - wrong decision.
Buyers beware and do your homework!! Good luck shopping elsewhere
Does someone know how to post these messages such that it shows up high on Google search. You will be saving tons of innocent buyers serious headache. Thanks.
Compudeals2u.com is a SCAM! I just ordered a camera from shopping online from them too...they had a really low price, so I went for it. I too got the email saying I needed to call to confirm the order. I called and they said that the camera doesn't come with a battery and that I would need to order that too. I asked to speak with a manager. The dude I was talking to said he was the manager. I asked for his full name. He then said that I needed to call customer service (I WAS calling customer service). Needless to say, I am now filing a complaint with the BBB and with the FBI online division, I urge anyone else who has been victimized to do the same ASAP!!!!!! (and close their cc account asap)

Good luck. You may want to contact your credit card customer service and get issued a new number.
It is risky to try to buy from a site of unknown reputation just because they post a price that looks better than any place that has a known good reputation.
As seen at
http://www.networksolutions.com/whois-search/compu...
the domain hides behind privacy protection. The BBB has no record of them. That might be because no one knows a U.S.A. or Canada address for them. Thanks to VOIP, the telephone number could be to anywhere in the world.
I just got the same thing today. an email saying i need to confirm my order. when i called he told me the camera was backordered, and tried to sell me something else that was in stock.
