Double the GB for $100 more. Do I really need 120 GB on the elite or could I live comfortably with the 60 GB that the XBOX 360 provides?
Update:I found out what type of gamer I am. I went for the super cheap 20 gb route because I'm pretty much a casual gamer that wishes to be the best at certain games. I don't need all the crazy stuff on the 360 so I got the 20 GB one. Thanks a lot everyone!

I would say go with the 120GB. As someone already said, there is an update coming to the Xbox this fall that will allow partial installs of games onto the Hard Drive. It isn't mandatory, but will help with over heating, as the discs won't spin as much because part of the game will be on your hard drive. But if you don't want to do that, you won't have to.
Also, you have to see what kind of gamer you are. Are you going to only play games you buy retail? Or are you going to be downloading Arcade games? Because if you're like me, you're goal is to own all the Arcade games eventually. That will take up some space. Plus, you've got movie rentals through Netflix coming up, as well as the regular rentals, demos, music videos, etc. that could potentially take up a lot of space.
And on a final note, the Elite not only has the 120GB HDD, but it also includes the Xbox 360 HDMI cable. That alone is $49.99. So if you have a 1080p HDTV, then you're getting a better cable, too. I don't have a 1080p television, but I can do 1080i and use the HDMI port on my television for that. Even if you don't have an HDTV now, but plan on upgrading in the future, you would be prepared for that.
If you get the 60GB and find it's not enough, the 120GB costs $150 if you wanted to upgrade. You could trade in the 60GB in at like Gamestop or another company that takes in used stuff, but you still wouldn't get enough to make upgrading worth it. You're better off just getting the Elite from the start if you have the extra hundred.
i would go for the 120 gb because i think when the new xbox update thing comes out you would be able to save games on it
but im really not that sure about it
ya 60gb is nice the 20gb was nice at begineing then after like 6 months or so u strat to worry about it so 60gb is good enough
but this fall update u be able install your games this stops your disk from moving. and when the system is not runing the disk its cooler because i have a few old xbox games downloaded on mine and it runs like its at the dashboard they said by installing u get better loading times to so it might be good to get 120gbs your choice
Just answer yourself this question:
Am I gonig to download a lot of movies from the Video Marketplace?
If yes, you should get the Elite
If not, then the 60GB will be more than enough.
i say stay cheep and if you ever need more memory just go out and buy another hard drive for it. 60GB is good but if you like to download a bunch of stuff like videos, music, pic, demos and all that other stuff get a 120GB. i just got a 20GB and it works good for me
take the 60GB
you wont download that much lol if u download alot take the elite
ill say take the normal one
120 may be too much. but if you feel you need more , go for it if you affort it.
