I am 55 years old and i love this guy, I am going to drive 6 hours to got see his concert in chicago, i cant wait to rock with him.

I was really surprise Lucas won. He's definitely got a unique voice, but I don't think he has the maturity to front this band. Remember the song writing clinic where he only came 1/2 prepared? Like Jason kept saying, he strains his voice too much when "singing" and he looks like he's in pain.

I was disappointed with the choice. I liked Supernova's songs, but will not be buying the album with Lucas' voice. Any of the other three would've been better.

Perhaps the guys didn't pick Magni or Toby because both are pretty established in their own countries with their own bands already.

I thought it was going to be Dilana. She's unique and can hold an audiences' attention for more than just one or two songs.

Yes! Lukas rocks! I think the ppl taking it out on Lukas (on Yahoo Answers) are just upset b/c they didn't pick Dilana. Lukas is an excellent performer and deserved to win. I voted for him, but I also thought Dilana was incredible too. I think she'll do better on her own though, Lukas fits the band. I don't think it had anything to do with not picking a female like some ppl are suggesting. Dilana is an excellent solo artist, but they were looking for someone who beat to their rhythm. Lukas is also an excellent song writer, Dilana's original stuff sucked.... she does better with covers and I'm sure she'll do great with someone to write songs for her. Also, to the ppl b*tching about Lukas' looks - who the hell cares about his looks?! Close your eyes and listen to him if you have to! I think he will sound twice as good in the recording studio. I personally think he's kinda cute, but understand how he might not be everyone's cup of tea. Grow up! This isn't NSYNC - they aren't picking ppl based on looks for God's sake..... THis is why some of the best rockers come from Canada - we tend to listen to REAL ppl... it doesn't f*cking matter what they look like. It's all about individuality.

I can not listen to Lucas sing more than one or two songs at a time. He has one style (Billy Idol) and that's it.

Dilana did win, she nevertheless gets to circulate on the excursion if she chooses, and an furnish from Gilby to offer and from Dave to play on her checklist. Lucas suits the band merely high quality. next year there will be a sparkling contest/new singer. i'm particular we are able to be listening to alot from those artists interior the close to destiny.

Damn, I shouldn't have been on this site at this time. I don't get to see the show for another 6 hours. I wanted Toby to win. Not because he's an Aussie dude, but he was the most entertaining and best looking. He's better off on his own I guess, not fronting some old has beens!
