YO common awkward predicament, please help!?
my friend invites me to something cool but i dont want to go bc im lazy and just want to waste time on the internet at home tonight (sometimes i just need one of those days)
now my issue is: what do i say when he inquires: why cant you go and what else better are you gonna do today?!
idk what to say; i dont want to tell him im just gonna be on my computer all night like a dweeb

Be a boss and say you just want to stay home because when a boss wants to stay home, it's cool.
If you don't want to lie, just tell him you don't have the time to take part in his petty squabbles since you are spending the night doing much more entertaining stuff, home, alone, with the door locked, tissues on your bed, and a friendly bottle of hand lotion on the desk. (Kidding, but seriously, just tell him you need a night to chill.)
