Your rising sign has a great amount to do with how you look as the 1st house/ascendant has to do with your features and mannerisms, how you come across to others. With a Capricorn rising (I have Cap rising too) you tend to hold your face in a serious set. You tend to look contemplative and people will guess you are older then you are when you are younger because of this. Caps tend to age in reverse, however, so you will tend to look more youthful as you get older. Caps age well due in most part to good bone structure.

You may tend to have a darker or swarthy complexion and dark, thick and sometimes wiry hair that tends to be dry. I question how this can be known. Can those that do research be really unbiased? How exactly is astrology "studied" if statistics are not used? Speculation is acceptable? The biggest thing I notice about us Virgoans in terms of facial characteristics are the eyes. We appear to have inquisitive, critical, wise and deep set eyes, but if you look closer, you'll notice we are hiding some inner turmoil or sad reflection as we brood on things.
