The easy way is to go into your Honda dealer and tell them your car battery died and you cant find the unlock code. If your really nice and have the info about the radio with you, they may just look it up for you. Just a warning, they sometimes charge for it. Also have the VIN# of the car, you can find that # on the plate on top of the drivers side of the dash, or in the drivers door jam. If your radio is the same one that was manufactured orj. with the car, its easy for them to look up your code by VIN #.
Before you go to the dealer, check inside the glove box for a sticker with a 5 digit code, it may be there. Also try starting the car, turn off the radio, so CODE is not displayed, push and hold preset buttons 1 & 6, then turn the radio on, the code may be displayed. This does not always work, but sometimes it does.
If you end up going to the dealer and they are not helpful, try calling Honda Customer Service (see links 2-4)
the code should be in the owners manual. also in the manual is how to type in the code when u have it. if the code you have doesn't work, go to the honda dealership and they can give you the number, but its not free. my recommendation is simply replace it with a aftermarket stereo deck. the sound quality is better, you can usually remove the face from the stereo so it cant be stolen and you wont ever have to mess with the code again. also, if your battery dies or if you pull the cables off the battery, will clear your stock radio and you will have to put in the code in again. save yourself the headache and get a different stereo.
