2005 yz250f hot start or decompression lever?
I just baught a 2005 yz250f beside the clutch is a little black lever? Is it decompression or a hot start? It starts the bike easy when cold when hot it starts easy wothout it
Update:You look pretty stupid thats why it already has a choke on the carb! There wouldnt be two chokes looks whos stupid befor tou talk its what im thinking a hot start or a decompression but dont think 95 has a decompression lever so im guessing hot starts thats why i asked i dont see me saying choke anywhere did i stupid kids!

If you pull the lever and can kick the bike over easily without the piston stopping on compression then it is a compression release. If there are two different knobs on your carb, one is choke and the other is hot start.

oh my gosh are you stupid it obviously a choke for cold starts just gives it more fuel for more rpm to warm it up faster than normal
