You must have developed a conditioned taste aversion to tuna fish. Eating tuna triggers a physiological response to throw it up because you must have eaten tuna when you were sick once or consumed bad tuna, which made you throw up, but only because you were sick or the tuna was bad. So now, every time you eat tuna, you throw it up automatically because you had a bad experience with it. The problem may not be the tuna at all or your GERD but purely psychological, which can manifest into physiological response (throwing up). A lot of us have conditioned taste aversions but it's something we're usually not aware of. And you can help yourself by trying to unlearn the conditioned response or fight your mind. Google Conditioned Taste Aversion and see what it's all about. Maybe that's what you're dealing with here :)
