I am doing this project for school and I am observing squirrels on campus at UCSC (Santa Cruz). Does anyone know what kind of squirrels are on campus. This is definitely not a ground squirrel because it hangs out in trees and lives in a foresty area. Ive seen it eat acorns mostly and some leaves off trees. It has a dark grey tail and a grey body, but NO white belly. I am stumped as to whether it is eastern or western... does anyone know about the squirrels here on campus? Or a website? I found this video of a squirrel at UCSC I am assuming it is of the same type, thanks

Update:Thanks for answering but i was wondering about what kind specifically it was.. thanks i guess
