This may sound really simple but were doing density and I know it's mass divided by volume , but i still don't understand what density is . I know if you put a aluminium block in cup if water water will come out . But I don't know the definition of density for example I know speed is how fast you're going , distance is how far you have gone pressure is amount of force on area but what's density? Density is how much mass a material has for a given volume. For example consider two 4cm by 4cm blocks. Both have the same size and everything about them is the same except one of them is made from lead and the other from wood. The lead block will be heavier because lead is much denser than wood.
