I need some help doing this problem related to MOS Transistors. How do you recommend going about doing this? All your help is appreciated! Thanks so much
Find the minimum and maximum possible values of Vds for the MOS transistor when used in the
circuit below. The only variable is the transistor gate ( 0 ohms to 10 kΩ).

If the resistor is 0 ohms, the drain current will be 0 and Vds will be 10 volts. If R=10k, Vgs will be 5 volts and Id will be about 7 mA. This makes Vds=10-4.9=5.1 volts. You need to be aware that the MOSFET transconductance and threshold voltage vary quite a bit from part to part.
