California Education code law?
Hi there i need help finding an education code for California it concerns discipline for students and after school detention ive seen it before but i cant seem to find it ive look but it would really help because i am going to write something on my school " Torch Middle School " because they break this law
if i remember correctly it says that teachers may detain students after school for no longer than an hour but i need proof hence finding the code. thank you for your help.

California law states, "A pupil shall not be detained in school for disciplinary or other reasons for more than one hour after the close of the maximum school day."
It is the policy School not to detain a child for more than one hour without contacting parents should his/her behavior warrant it.
