I think that's the first time I've personally read it stated in any sort of authority, so Camilla definitely won't be styled Queen?
I know that the a fair chunk of the population will say "quite right" "Cowmilla" and the rest but do you think this is fair? Every (I think) kings' wife in history has been queen automatically by virtue of marriage. Should the messy and regrettable history of Charles's first marriage really provoke an unprecedented move in a thousand years of history?
Update:Bluebell... yeah.. it doesn't quite work the same way when a Queen regnant marries, but thanks for your input anyway

Whether you like it or not, Camilla WILL be Queen consort when Charles ascends the throne. It is law and that has been the tradition for thousands of years. We get it, she made bad decisions, Charles made bad decisions but so did Diana. Even though i love her with all my heart and still miss her, Diana cheated to you know. Charles is heir to the throne and when he becomes king, Camilla will be his Queen consort despite how the public feels. The whole "princess consort" thing sounds ridiculous. Give the woman a chance! She earned my respect after she admitted that she wanted to be known as Duchess of Cornwall instead of Princess of Wales because she wanted it to always be remembered and attached to her predecessor the late Diana. If that's not respect, than I don't know what is.
Camilla will legally become queen consort, when Prince Charles is king. However, Camilla will be styled as princess consort. Of course, some things are subject to change. So, it is very possible that Camilla will be styled as queen consort in the future.

Thats true.That is the official view at the moment to placate the Camilla haters. I expect the Queen to reign till she is almost 100. What a celebration that would be her 100th birthday ! Whatever,I expect her to live many more years so Charles Consort wont arise.
When he does take the Throne, Charles could call her what ever he wants as the Sovereign is the "fount of all honour"
Actually, this was officially announced when the marriage was announced, some ten years ago.
The only thing is, she has become ingratiated to the people of the UK. There are many who hope that Prince Charles will rule in favor of her.
Equine Consort will be her title.
