If a minor were to die in Australia, who would get there possessions? If they left a note saying who would get what, would that note be respected or would the government step in and decide? Especially if not everyone on the note were a family member. Links to more information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not asking this because I plan on doing something like this. I was just wondering because something like this happened to someone I know recently and I just wanted to know what would happen. So I guess it depends on if your parents are willing to respect your last wishes.
