can an eligible non resident cosign a loan?
I need my friend to cosign a loan for me. he has good credit and he is legal here. He is not a permanent resident just an eligible non resident. if there any loan agency that allow an eligible non-resident to cosign?

Not likely....but if you did find a lender, the loan would probably be on really bad terms.
The whole point of a cosigner is to have someone to offset your credit issues. The non-resident status would probably spook the creditor as they would be afraid that he could always run back to his home country.
