can i keep the ups parcel?
i recieved a laptop in ups 3 days ago..i tried searching for the company and the address on yahoo but nothing came up..i tried to look for the lady whose name the package was in..still nothing..so i called a number that was on the package. i got a hold of the guy..he called back after checking his 'system' and said it was delivered to the wrong address and to call the ups people and ask for where the package went...i didnt tell him i had the laptop, i told him i recieved some invoice...will it be terrible to keep it? what will happen?

I would keep it, let the company sort it out.
If someone else's name was on the package, you shouldn't have opened it at all. You should have called UPS and told them the package didn't belong to your address. UPS could then retrieve the package and either return it or deliver it to the correct address.
you may need to check your credit just in case as you did get an invoice in your name --right!!! If that is the case you also got the bill. If some one has accessed your credit you need to call the police now
Yes, because if you keep it, its theft/robbery and you can go to jail.
Why did you open a package not addressed to you in the first place?
remember there's like a 5 yrs statue of liminitations on theft, so anytime in the next 5 yrs, the police can arrest you.
Check your credit and do the right thing and return the laptop.
