So, recently my school received a threat that a student would be bringing a weapon to school, in response, they started randomly searching backpacks (Taking and giving back at the end of the day) for every 7 students. First off, is this even legal, and second, if it is legal, and the warrant of "safety" comes first, if they can't (or won't) search everyone's backpack, aren't they supposed to close school for a time to keep our safety?
