A custom body shop, such as one that builds limousines. This involves cutting the body, extending cables, the fuel line, and the drive shaft (assuming your truck is rear-wheel drive). The frame would also have to be cut and reinforced for the additional weight.
As you see on there site, it cost tens of thousands of dollars. It is no easy task to do this.
I also saw something like this on "Trucks!" which is a show from the SPEED channel in the USA. They took a super crew cab F-250 and turned it into the ultimate diesel powered tailgating truck with 6 fullsized doors.
I would not condone, though, the stretching of a two door single cab into an extended cab, seems kind of expensive for very little gain.
Yes, if you don't mind spending 3 times more than the truck will be worth when its finished. Customizing will run you 10's of thousands of dollars to do (unless you can do it yourself)!
The least expensive way would be to trade in the single cab truck for one with an extended cab.
I would not get a custom body shop to do it. It is exspensive and you comprimise the integritiy of the vehicle when you do so. If you really want one with an extended cab look at trading yours in. You will probably come out cheaper then trying to pay someone to do it, and the structure of the vehicle will probably be stronger. Not to mention the fact that you will not have to worry about leaks into the vehicle if all the seals are not done correctly.
don't... trade 4 what you want...i know the feeling but cost is crazy and work is unreal...and after your done it will never be like new [or like it was....
