i work for a company and the job comes with a laptop. the administrators user and password was written down however its not logging in. it use to about a week or two ago but now it doesnt. what can i do. im trying to download fl studio demo but its restricted on this user.
Update:i have the pssw and user. but its not working anymore. i use another user for internet

If it's a Windows PC (you didn't say), and it's connected to a domain (i.e. your login is something like "MYCOMPANY\MYNAME" rather than just "MYNAME") then it may be that your PC hasn't connected to your corporate network recently enough, and its memory of the appropriate credentials has timed out (disappeared, basically). The solution here is to connect to your corporate network and then attempt using the login details so that Windows refreshes its local cache.
On the other hand it may be that you're trying to use (say) MYCOMPANY\Administrator instead of MYLAPTOP\Administrator as the login credentials. Or the other way round, of course.

You could download Rescatux and burn to a CD, boot off that (it's a real Linux distro), and there's a utility to delete Windows passwords. I've used it several times.
