well it depends what wireless verizon cant

if you have Verizon Wireless, you can't do that. The last phone that was able to do that through VZW was the LG VX-6000. It's a classic now.

on a razr verizon one, whenever its closed, than u hold the button the the right side for 4 seconds and then it should say recorder or wat ever or u can go to tunes and tones and record new, the side button is just a shortcut, for more details go to ur manual

you go to one of the side buttons and they would tell you to go to the address book and you pick a name and then they tell u to say the name and say it fater and they will keep in telling u to do that untill it is ready
