What does it mean to have a class B misdememor for paraphenelia? What is usually the outcome of it?

Here in California a misdemeanor is a crime punishable no more than 1 year in county jail. If you go popped for a pipe (used to smoke a certian substance) you'll probably do community service and pay a fine. You wont go to jail, at least not here in California. If you a juvenile, get probation and community service. Remember "Just Say No!!!!!"
Can you clarify? Are you talking about drug paraphernalia? If you are and no drugs were found, you could be faced with probation or up to a year in jail and/or a fine.
