I'm hearing impaired and bought a closed caption phone. The problem is I have to have a third party to interpreter what the caller is saying and send it to me on my phone monitor in caption mode. But the phone company I use doesn't have that option. Does anyone know if technology today has a phone that captions without a third party or an outside word processor involved?

I agree a hundred%. yet then somebody might whinge {through fact they are ignorant} that they could't see each and every thing on the show. i'm so sorry approximately your mom. It should be very puzzling for her. On our television I each and every sometimes have the closed captioning on. What a help that is!
You could always buy a cell phone and just use the texting feature instead of making actual calls on it. Just make sure the plan you get includes texting in it otherwise you'll have a mighty big bill every month.
If you live in the US this is nationally available by law.It doesn't matter what telephone company you use. You call a deaf relay service.
