Closing up a tongue piercing question?
Ok I got my tongue pierced seven days ago and all I have had are
problems with it.
I took it out about eight hours ago.
I'm sure its basically closed up now but it hurts and burns like none other right now.
Why is that? How long will it be till it stops hurting??

What were the symptoms of irritation when you had the piercing? It could have been infected or you could have had an allergic reaction to the jewelry. When you have a problem with a piercing, you should not take it out immediately. You should do research and/or go to a good piercer for advice. Maybe you should do sea salt soaks with your tongue. Get 1/8 to 1/4 of sea salt san iodine and put it in 8 oz of clean hot water. soak your tongue in it for 5-10 minutes. do it twice a day. If it is an infection, it could solve your problem.
you should'nt mess with it if ur doctors are open go to them to show them n see what they say but if their not try and go to ur chemist n they might be able to give you better advice than i can (ovbiousley) and don't panic or worrie but if it starts to swell you need to go to the hospital immediatley because it can make you struggle with your breathing. Sorry if i'v worrired you.
