I'm becoming a cna because I wanted to get experience working at the ground level of health care while going to school to become a physical therapy assistant. My question is I heard that as a cna I can be trained to be a restorative aide but how long would that take? Could I start asap or do I have to work as a cna for a few months? Any and all responses are welcome, Thank You.

yes you can start as soon as you get certified as a cna. it takes 3 months or less depending on the school curriculum. each state has its own laws regarding the required number of hours in theory and clinical.
