coastal scents ultra shimmer or regular matte?
also, is the shimmer palette good for everyday wear?
Update:matte eyeshadows usually wash me out so i like a little shimmer. but i heard the shimmer palette isnt as pigmented and that it is way too shimmery. is that the case?

I would go with the matte palette. You can always add shimmer to any eyeshadow. You can buy things of regular shimmer at any drug store or makeup store for less than $5. If you buy the shimmer palette and you decide one day you don't want shimmery eyeshadow on, you're kinda screwed. Lol. So go with matte and add shimmer when you'd like it.
I personally have the matte palette and love it SO much. The pigments are great. :o)
I'd go for the matte. Right now I know that they don't have a palette with ALL matte eyeshadows. I got the matte and it came with mostly matte colors with some shimmery and some pearl shadows. LOVE the palette. You don't want to overwhelm yourself with too much shimmer. The palettes are just as pigmented but the shimmer is definitely the most shimmery shadows I've EVER seen in my life! I don't like too much shimmer, so I'd go matte.

try looking up comparisons on youtube type in (costal scents 88 shimmer vs 88 matte or something like that) so you can hear people talk about them and see them and maybe see swatches :)
i have both and i found that the matte palette was nicely pigmented but i didnt like how it looked. Bright matte colors just didnt look as nice.

you can do some everyday looks, but not too many because of all those bright colors.
i have the matte palette. its useless and i never use it. the colors come off very quickly(and i've tried multiple primers). the shadows are so small I felt ripped off when I got it. Try fyrinnae's shadows, they're cheap(you can get a 2$ sample size or 5$ full size that'll last you forever), super pigmented, and they will last so long. They're loose shadows but they're great.
