I recently got a samsung HDTV that I hooked up to my comcast digital cable box. All of the regular channels come in just fine, but for some reason every single HD channel is scrambled, it attempts to show the picture but doesn't even come close. Their HD channels are free, so I don't understand why only the HD channels won't show up. Any suggestions?

Its because your standard cable box cant project HD pictures. They will have to come out and switch your Cable box to an HD cable box.
The below answerer is wrong, you are already paying the 6.95 mo for the box you have now, you will not have to pay anything extra.
it's a real scam with comcast, if you plug the cable right in to your TV you will find HD network channels after you scan listed like 29-1, 59-3 and they will be full HD, plug in their standard box and all HD is blocked, they will want to charge you $6.95/mo for their HD box, AT&T uvers is a much better deal and i plan on switching as soon as they can get the service to my address
