Coming to Ontario as a Provincial Nominee, Am I Considered a Permanent Resident?
I just received my Provincial Nominee Certificate and am so excited to begin my new life in the province of Ontario. Does this certificate mean that I am considered a permanent resident of Canada?
You are not considered a permanent resident yet but now that you have your PNP you can apply for your PR card.
It will be an easier process for you to apply because you likely have already done your medical and background checks for Ontario so you won’t have to have them done again they will just have to be reassessed at the federal level.
I found a video for you all about how to apply for your PR card
