Videos are composed of
Video part and audio part
Video need video codec to compress it like windows media video or Divx or real media ...etc
Audio need codec to to be compressed like wma or mp3 ...etc
Using winrar or winzip is valueless with multimedia
I suggest to use divx. It really compresses video files. U can use it for 30 days for free. Try it
i can all depends on the format of the video the whole point of the newer file formats is to shrink them down so it will shrink a mpeg more than say a Divix
