my title outlays my features

now to the matter at hand,

I inserted my cruzer blade sandisk which had some files and folders and other zips.

after autorun I opened the flash disk however in opening all files and zips were okay but my folders appeared as short cuts of 1 KB.I went and formatted the disk.I put different files and folders and zip but the same thing happened so I installed xp again(same version)but same happened.the cruzer blade works well on other computers and DVDs.what or where is the problem.please be very accurate
