Alright i have a Dell demension 3000 for the past week it has made a funny clicking noise and froze so i had to restart it then 1 day when i turned it back on it showed ''no boot device available'' so i'm like wtf *cry* i have a acronis or w/e backup disk with my old hard drive info on it cause i had this problem b4 when i put it in then set the boot sequence to Cd-rom and it loads up and i hit restore hard drive or w/e it shows ''E000101f acronis true image workstation not found any hard disk drives'' so agin i'm like *cry* so b4 i take it to a shop or w/e i wanna know some things is there a forum just for computer tech if so gemme a link and if i get a new hard drive will it fix my problem and is it hard getting software for new harddrives or how much or estimage would a shop make me pay to fix it completely any info on this will help greats btw i was playing Worldofwarcraft while the problem began and about 3 weeks before this problem my computer crashed all the info was deleted ''physically dumped memory /cry '' and i used acronis to fix it and it did my friend larry came over and used something called commander or something idk THANKS GUYS!

Sounds like the hard drive is at fault. Check your hard drive cables, making sure they're inserted firmly, making sure there is no cable tension from the motherboard to the hard drive. It just might be a bad sector on a particular disc
Get a XP installation boot cd and boot from it, basically go with "R" for restore then as quickly as you get to the command instantaneous type in "chkdsk /r" this is going to run approximately 40-60 min and fasten the platforms archives. I particularly have fixed platforms like this effectively 9 out 10 cases
