Yesterday i worked on a computer with the blue screen bugcheck code 0x0124 which i looked up and was not helpful at all! some say hardware problem overheating bad drivers. When i got there i dusted it out and did a hardware test no probs there. his temp got to 121 once. i updated win vista and nvidia drivers, and fixed the registry. his computer is fine now i just dont want him calling me cuz i missed something. i dont have alot of info sorry its a hp 2008 win vista . in who crashed a blue screen viewer app says it might be a thermal issue. so any suggestions would help. im sorry no minidump file u prolly need it.

You need to download a bluescreen reader to help figure out what is triggering it to happen. I feel like if you look up codes you won't get answers, that is the case most of the time. If you get a blue screen reader it will log it next time it happens and you will be able to read what is causing the issue. There are so many things that could be causing it, including small things like drivers.
that must be any style of multiple issues. maximum in all probability it is the two some style of virus, or if it occurs plenty once you're gaming then it must be overheating. Run an epidemic test, and acquire some temperature monitoring application so which you will troubleshoot what your subject could be.
Blue screens most usually occur due to bad RAM. Replacing it would be an ideal option.
