Computer Problem!!!!!?
I need help I'm using a Windows Vista Home Edition. I have been having problems with my computer just about viruses and trojans. But, now the problem is that the internet signal gets lost and I can't fix it. It only works when it wants, too. When it doesn't work it shows in the corner 2 computers with know globe in its corner. The modem still has all the lights flashing. I hasn't been long that I took this computer to get fixed. It started to occur constantly. Also when i moved to my new house the internet's signal started to lose but, not this constant. Please help..... I want to know if this computer is still worth it. It had laster about 2 years but, getting fixed once in a while like 3 times a year. Please help!!!!!!!

Do you have a dedicated IP address? And that address is the only source of Internet. If so you need to add roaming to your network connection.. Click on to Control Panel or Network or if Vista in your start menu has a search feature that you can type words in. You are looking for a troubleshooter for network connections. I am familiar with XP and Windows 7, not Vista. Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) should take care of you, and if not cancel them after you find another. The service should take care of anything modem related, wiring, and the Internet itself. Could be some one installed generic drivers in the LAN card. I learned the hard way about this. You need the manufactures. Your computer must be at least 2 years old and there should not be a reason to replace it. Might want to explore a new computer tech. Taking it in 3 times a year is not good. Hope it helps.
Based on what you are saying. It's difficult to determine what the trouble is. You didn't say whether or not you're utilizing High velocity or dial or wi-fi. If you're utilizing a wi-fi web, it would be sign barrier trouble. If you're utilizing High velocity, it would be adware trouble, if dial up, would be bandwidth trouble. If you have been utilizing you laptop good enough earlier than. I do not believe it is laptop trouble. Modem vigor surge trouble could also be feasible.
it sounds computer has nothing to do with this it is the modem try to refresh it by un plug the modem from power for 5 minutes after you turn the computer off then plug it in again.
Are you sure it's not the interface device like a cable modem or the DSL adapter?
u must use an Kasper sky anti virus. and Updat it and Than scan U r my computer.
