Open any of the 2 websites, upload files then share the link with your frnd via chat or email (the link of the file in the website) and he/she will be able to download that from there. The speed of upload and download will be slow because you will (may be) be using it as free user. But it works.

It depends on how large the video file is. If you both have decent internet connections and the file is less than say 50 or 100MB, you can upload it to a file hosting site for free and then send the link to your buddy to download. You can then delete the file you uploaded if you're concerned about privacy (just make sure you setup an account with them first in that case).
If your file is very large it's probably easier to just burn to DVD or copy to a USB drive and physically hand it to your friend.
Depending on how big the video file is you can email/ upload the video to the person. If not you could use Megaupload or Rapidshare to do such
e-mail it to him :)
