I want to build the ultimate gaming computer but have a little trouble trying to decide on what to do next.I can't decide whether to try water-cooling or not, because I have no idea on how to do it.Also I want to try overclocking my CPU and GPU, but don't know anything about overclocking either. If you know of great websites for beginners on those topics it it would be helpful.
For the hardware part I have no clue on what to buy next.Do I sell one of my 9800's (keeping this one to run dual monitors) and buy 2 nvidia GTX 280's,and run them in SLI?Should I do water-cooling?Would buying one of Intel's "Extreme" processors be any good,or should I just learn to overclock my Q6600?Finally should I just buy a 3rd 9800GTX and do 3-way SLI?Any suggestions on parts and ideas will be greatly appreciated.
My specs are:
A XION II Mid-Tower Case
XFX 780i 3-way SLI Capable Motherboard
2x XFX 9800GTX's in SLI Mode
Intel's Q6600 Quad-Core Processor (2.4GHz)
4GB RAM (800MHz)
500GB HDD with Vista
320GB HDD with XP
800-Watt Power Supply
24" Monitor (1920x1200)

the gtx 560 is easily extra efficient than the pictures chip coming with the ps4, an edited version of the 7600 sequence i think of. individually im waiting for the subsequent launch of amd taking part in cards. they have truly admitted that the 8000 sequence is waiting yet they see no element liberating it because of the fact the 7000 sequence remains merchandising so nicely. i think we can initiate seeing new gen taking part in cards in Q3 of this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, beforehand the ps4 launch. i'm additionally working a 560 albeit alongside a i5 2500k. loking at present day gen taking part in cards the 7870 oc'ed version seems to grant terrific bang for greenback as i replaced into going to enhance to this and it comes with unfastened video games, now i think of im going to await the 8870 nevertheless.
Go get some lame prebuilt off of HP or CyberPower PC.
You'd probably burn your house down trying to overclock your gear.
