I have used custom brushes in the past on my Corel Paint Shop Pro X and everything worked just fine. For some reason right now, every time I go to use a brush this box pops up saying: "You must specify a clone source by right-clicking or clicking on the image with the shift key down before you can use the clone brush". I don't know what this "clone" brush is, but I just want to be able to paint using the custom brushes I used in the past. How can I do this or get past this clone thing? I am completely confused. Thank you!

You're clicking on your Clone Brush instead of your Paint Brush.
Click on your Paint Brush tool & then select the brush you want from the dropdown. Here's a screen capture where I circled the paint brush tool & drop down where you select your brush so you know what I'm talking about:

commence off by capacity of going to FREEHAND decision, and placed 'mode' to characteristic. opt for the aspects which you desire colored. Now bypass to suggestions>>invert. Now press SHIFT+L.placed saturation to '0'. to alter the colour of somebody's eyes, back FREEHAND opt for the attention and press SHIFT+L to choose on the colour.
