Here are a varity of Corn Flake Cookies. Maybe one is the recipe you want.
CORNFLAKE COOKIES
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. each baking soda and cream of tartar
2 cups Corn Flakes Cereal
1/2 cup nuts, optional
Add dry ingredients to creamed mix gradually. Stir in 2 cups Corn Flakes; mix well and add 1/2 cup nuts. Drop by teaspoons about 2 inches apart (cookies will spread out). Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
OATMEAL - CORN FLAKE COOKIES
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. rolled oats (oatmeal)
2 c. crushed corn flakes
Mix butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and add to butter mixture. Add oatmeal and corn flakes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
CORN FLAKE COOKIES
Cream: 1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Sift together and add to creamed mixture: 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking powder
Stir in: 1 c. coconut 1 1/2 to 2 c. crushed corn flakes
Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees 12-15 minutes.
PEANUT BUTTER CORNFLAKE COOKIES
1 c. white sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. corn flakes
Bring sugar & syrup to a boil. Remove from heat & add butter & peanut butter. Melt, pour over corn flakes. Mix together good. Spoon onto wax paper. Makes 50 cookies.
PECAN - CORN FLAKE COOKIES
3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. corn flakes
2 c. pecan halves
Beat egg whites until stiff. Continue beating while gradually adding sugar, then salt and vanilla. Carefully fold in cornflakes and pecans. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 300 degrees for 35 minutes.

There is a breakfast brick called Weet-Bix that is available, but I wouldn't really call them a cookie though, they are more of a breakfast food.
This is another type of bar that is closer to a cookie.

1 1/2 c. Kellogg's Corn Flake Crumbs
3 tbsp. sugar
1 stick butter, melted
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
1 can Borden's Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
Measure corn flake crumbs, sugar and butter into 13x9x2 inch baking pan; mix thoroughly. With back of spoon press mixture in bottom of pan to form crust. Sprinkle nuts over crust. Scatter morsels over nuts. Sprinkle coconut over morsels. Pour condensed milk over coconut. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Cool and cut into bars.
I also make these with rice bubbles.
By adjusting the size of the pan and the amount you put in, will vary the thickness.
Mine are about 1" thick.
I know what you're talking about, although I don't have a recipe. I've enjoyed them as holiday cookies several times, shaped into wreaths or trees and decorated with red cinnamon candies as ornaments. They're something like Rice Krispy Treats except the stuff that sticks them together tastes like it's based on corn syrup rather than marshmallows.

Princess, into a food processor and make Cornflake Crummies. Not to fine, these make the best Italian Chicken recipe ever. The recipe calls for a lot of Brandy lol.
