About two months ago, my mom and I stopped at a Cracker Barrel while on a road trip, and had some Double Fudge Coca Cola Cake. It was amazing. So, a few weeks ago, I made it for my mom's birthday. I followed this recipe: http://toottoot.com/r_recipe_crackerbarrelcolacake...
I followed it pretty much exactly, and it totally didn't taste like the one at Cracker Barrel.
So...any suggestions or different recipes?

Call a Cracker Barrel and see if they may have a cookbook with recipes of some of the things they make there. If not try doing a web search for copy cat recipes.

3 tablespoons cocoa
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
frosting
1/4 lb margarine
3 tablespoons cocoa
6 tablespoons cream or milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 lb confectioners' sugar
Directions

2Add the eggs, Buttermilk, soda, and vanilla and beat well.
3Pour into a greased and floured sheet cake pan, and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
4For Frosting: In a saucepan, combine the butter cocoa, and milk and heat until the butter melts, Beat in the remaining ingredients, and Spread on the hot cake. Cool and cut.
I know I found it online once but it was root beer. Basically it is a cake mix with the liquid being whichever can pop you want.
